HIL (India) Limited entrusted Kamtech Associates Pvt. Ltd. with providing consultancy services for the relocation of its manufacturing plant from Kochi to Rasayani. The assignment included the preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR), detailed engineering and design, tender documentation, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimation, and comprehensive financial analysis. The project focused on developing a strategic relocation plan that ensured the safe dismantling, transportation, and reinstallation of plant machinery while minimizing production downtime. The scope also included infrastructure planning, utility integration, equipment layout optimization, and implementation support at the new facility. Financial and technical evaluations were conducted to assess the feasibility of the relocation by considering transportation costs, labor deployment, equipment reinstallation, project schedules, and long-term operational efficiency, ensuring a smooth transition and sustainable manufacturing operations at the Rasayani plant.
