NCC Limited
as the Design Consultant for the preparation of detailed engineering layouts and drawings for the Waste Collection Conveyor System at the IIHM Ganur Site. The consultancy assignment included the design of feeding hoppers, belt conveyors, bucket elevators, compost units, and underground civil and electrical layouts to establish an efficient waste collection and handling system. The project also involved planning horticulture waste collection systems, designing waste segregation facilities for biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials, and developing integrated compost processing units. Kamtech prepared detailed engineering drawings, technical specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and comprehensive cost estimates to support project execution. The system was designed for continuous 24×7 operation with a handling capacity of approximately 350 tonnes per day, efficiently collecting waste from multiple locations through underground conveyor systems connected to surface-level composting facilities. Special emphasis was placed on operational efficiency, ease of maintenance, wet waste handling, and long-term system reliability.
